How to Register

To register for a course at UNE, complete and submit the Continuing Education Application. For courses with prerequisites, an unofficial transcript with proof of prerequisite completion is also required.

Once registration for continuing education is open, the Registrar’s Office will process your application and register you for the course, depending upon seat availability. Once the registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from the Registrar’s Office.

To register for an online graduate-level course as a continuing education student with the College of Professional Studies, please submit your registration application through UNE Online.

Drop and Withdrawal Policy

A student may withdraw from a course after the add/drop period has ended through the designated withdrawal deadline, which is approximately at the 60% point of the course's length. Ceasing to attend classes or notifying the instructor does not constitute an official withdrawal.

Students must complete and submit an approved Course Withdrawal Form to the University Registrar’s Office by the withdrawal deadline published in the Academic Calendar.

Requests to withdraw from a course after the withdrawal period will only be considered in extreme circumstances.

A course withdrawal during the withdrawal period results in a grade of “W,” which will appear on a student’s official transcript.

Late Withdrawal Request

To request a late withdrawal, you must consult with your instructor and the Registrar’s Office and submit a completed Academic Petition (PDF) stating the extenuating circumstances and a letter of support from an advisor, faculty member, or program/academic director to the college’s dean’s office offering the course for consideration.

Tuition

Courses must be paid in full before they start. For assistance regarding tuition, costs, or your bill, please contact Student Financial Services at sfs@orkexpo.net or (207) 602-2342.

Course Cancelation and Changes
